২০১৯-২০ শিক্ষাবর্ষে স্নাতক (সম্মান) প্রথম বর্ষের ভর্তি পরীক্ষার আবেদন শুরু হচ্ছে আগামী ৫ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে।

আবেদনঃ
৫ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০১৯ থেকে ১৫ অক্টোবর, ২০১৯ তারিখ রাত ১২টা পর্যন্ত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ওয়েব সাইট এ প্রচারিত নিয়মাবলী অনুসারে অনলাইনে আবেদন করা যাবে।
ভর্তি পরীক্ষাঃ
১, ২ এবং ৮, ৯ নভেম্বর, ২০১৯ তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
ইউনিট ও আসনঃ
এবারে ০৯টি ইউনিটের অধীনে ৩৪ বিভাগে সর্বমোট ৩,০৭০ জন (বিদেশি শিক্ষার্থী ও কোটাসহ) শিক্ষার্থী ভর্তি করা হবে। ইউনিটসমূহ হলো এ, বি, সি, ডি, ই, এফ, জি, এইচ এবং আই।
আবেদন ফিঃ
ইউনিট প্রতি আবেদন ফি ৯০০ টাকা
ভর্তি পরীক্ষার সময়সূচিঃ
এফ এবং জি ইউনিটের ভর্তি পরীক্ষা ১ নভেম্বর;
ডি এবং ই ইউনিটের ভর্তি পরীক্ষা ২ নভেম্বর
সি এবং এইচ ইউনিটের ভর্তি পরীক্ষা ৮ নভেম্বর;
এ, বি এবং আই ইউনিটের ভর্তি পরীক্ষা ৯ নভেম্বর, ২০১৯ তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

Online Application Starts: 5/09/2019
Online Application Deadline: 15/10/2019
Admission Test Starts: 1/11/2019
Admission Test End: 9/11/2019

Minimum Requirement for Applying

SSC Passing Year: 2015,2016,2017
HSC Passing Year: 2018, 2019

Minimum Grade Point:
For A+I Unit:
Minimum GPA 7.00 Out of 10(SSC+HSC) with Science Background.
They must obtain a minimum of 3.00 in both SSC and HSC.

For other Science Units:
Minimum GPA 6.50 Out of 10(SSC+HSC).

For Business and Humanities:
Minimum GPA 6.00 out of 10.


For O-level and A-level:
Minimum B grade in 3 Subject in O-level and 2 subject in A level.

Important Information for BSMRSTU Admission

• Quota:
  Freedom Fighters: 5%
  Physically Disable Person: 1%
  Son/Daughter University Staffs: 1%
  Sports/Cultural Quotas: 1%
  Indigenous People: 1%
  Foreign Students: Total 50 Seats

•  To get admitted in Economics, Candidates must have 3.00 in Math/Economics/ Statistics
• For English Students have to obtain 14 Marks in Admission Test in respective subjects
• Total Marks: 80
• Pass Marks: 25
• Based on GPA: 20 Marks (SSC 10 + HSC 10)
• Exam Method: MCQ
• 25% marks deduction for each wrong answer

Faculties:

Admission exams are conducted based on faculties. Exam of each of the Faculty is held under an unit. There are 7 faculties and 3 institutes.

• Faculty of Social Science(E Unit)
• Faculty of Business Studies(F Unit)

• Sheikh Hasina Agricultural Institute (H Unit)

Admission exam of Sheikh Hasina Institute of ICT is held along with A unit.
There are 3 Department under  this institute. CSE, EEE and ETE.

Each of the Faculty consists of several Departments. All the department has a different seat for the candidates. Following table shows the details of the seat number and departments.

How to Apply

2. Fill up the online form properly
3. Choose the Units
4. Collect Bill number
5. Pay the Application Fee  6. Download the admit card

How to Pay Application Fee

You have to pay the fee through Rocket(DBBL) Mobile banking account (or agent account).

Biller ID: 372

Amount: Tk. 900/-

Collect the TransactionID which is required to download the admit card.

Payment Time: 05.09.2019 to 15/10/2019 12:00 PM

How to Download Admit Card

1. Visit BSRMSTU Admission Site. Click Here to visit
2. Go to your unit
3. Enter Transaction ID
4. Upload Passport Size Photograph of the applicant
5. Download the Admit Card
6. Print it in A4 Size Paper
7. Download Admit Card within: 05/09/2019 12:01 AM to 20/10/2019 12:00 PM

Admission result 2019-20

After the admission test result will be published online. It will be published here too. 

NOTE:

1. Students have to bring Printed Copy  of Admit card
2. Allowed Calculator Models Fx-100(MS,S,V,W,Z,C,D), FX-570(MS,S,W,Z), Fx-991(MS,W,S,H,Z)
3. Mobile Phones and other electronic Device is not allowed.
4. For applicant received Gold/Silver/Bronze Medal in any International Olympiad can get admitted by obtaining the pass mark only.
5. University authority hold the right to bring any change regarding admission.

Sometimes students get confused with these two names, Bangabandhu Biggan O Projukti Bissobiddaloy and Gopalganj University of Science and Technology. It is the same university.Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science & Technology is also known as Gopalganj University for its location.
